Just west of Swansea set in the Gower Peninsula your family will enjoy the perfect Day Out at the Gower Heritage Centre.

Gower Heritage Centre was established in 1990 as a countryside crafts centre situated in historical and beautiful surroundings. The 12th century water powered corn and saw mill was renovated, and experienced crafts people took up residence on site. Today the centre is recognised as a vibrant crafts and rural life museum that welcomes visitors from all around the world.


Rural Gower and Agriculture History

  • Woodturners Lathe
  • Coracle Display
  • The Water Turbine
  • The Blacksmiths
  • Farming Museum
  • The Woollen Mill
  • The Medieval Display
  • Diary Parlour


Animal Park

You will also enjoy visiting the Animal Pens and Stables, full of farm animals that you can help the animal carer feed, as well as stroll around the Fish Pond.


Other facilities at the Gower Heritage Centre include, Tea Rooms, Have a go at Pottery, Shops, Puppet Theatre, Tractor Play Area, Adventure Play Area, Toilets, Car Park, Bar and BBQ
