Families can take part in the Easter Trail around the Dinefwr estate and enjoy fun games at the front of the historic Newton House.

Join in the fun activities this spring, which will lead you through the ancient parkland. Families can discover 10 family friendly activities to explore!

Pick up your trail sheet from a member of our friendly team in the car park, before completing the loop and collecting your chocolate egg made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa, at the end an alternative prize is available if required.

There will be outdoor games in front of Newton House for everyone to enjoy. The team in the café will be serving a delicious selection of hot and cold food, including a children’s menu and there will be a range of homemade bakes and sweet treats.

If you’d like to explore a little further, you can venture into the Deer Park to spot does and bucks which have called Dinefwr home for hundreds of years. Visit the ‘Castle Oak’ which is over 1,000 years old and take a moment to listen to birdsong along the boardwalk.

The trail is suitable for children of all ages, pushchairs and wheelchairs. The trail goes through a field and along footpaths, around 1.2km long. There is a slight incline on a gravel path. Dogs on leads are welcome.
