Tenby Castle Beach is a pretty beach in Pembrokeshire and is fantastic setting for a Fun Family Day out.
Your family will love Tenby Castle Beach This is a nice big sandy beach that stretches southwards, joining up with the sand of Tenby South Beach.
During low tide, St Catherine's Island actually connects to this beach so you walk over there on foot. St Catherine’s island is the site of a historic fort, which you reach by climbing up a steep flight of stairs, but once at the top you have some amazing views of the beach, town, and surrounding coastline. Sometimes boats dock along this beach between the castle and the island, however the water is shallow and excellent for swimming. The ruins of Tenby Castle, on Castle Hill, overlooks this beach and gives stunning views.
There are toilets and café on the slipway. This beach has a lifeguard service from June to September and dogs are not allowed on the beach from May to September
