Argos Issues Urgent Recall on Cotbed Duvet due to Risk of Overheating

An urgent product recall has been issued by Argos for their high selling cotbed duvet due to the risks causing infants to overheat.

It has come to the company’s attention that the level of insulation provided by this duvet exceeds the specified rating and as may cause an infant to overheat.

The exact product details are - Washable 4.0 Tog Cotbed Duvet Cat no. 790/3076

Overheating infants can be serious leading to disrupted sleep, rashes and even possibly cot death.

Argos Cotbed Duvet Recall

What do you need to do?

Customers are advised to Stop using the duvet immediately and return it to an Argos store for a full refund of £15.00. You will not need a proof of purchase. Please be assured that no other products are affected by this recall.

Argos have apologised for the error and said "We thank you for your cooperation and apologise for any inconvenience.”
