Does your child dream of flying cars or space buggies? Why not let their imagination run wild and let them enter this year’s Toyota Dream Car Art Contest as Entries are Open Now
Toyota is inviting kids to think big and draw what they think the future of mobility will look like. That could be flying cars, zero emission hoverboards or even space buggies for moons and planets.
No matter how wild or out there your child’s car design is Toyota would love to see it!
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been running since 2004 and has to date attracted more than 6.2 million entries from children living in over 100 countries.
Previous winners’ designs have included a pod that takes lonely pensioners for an adventure, nanoscopic ‘bumper cars’ with healing properties and a car that lowers the temperature of the ocean, preventing the bleaching of coral reefs and the melting of icecaps.
So, as you can see this is a Fab chance to let your Child explore the depths of their mind and come up with some Awesome ideas of what our Future travel mobility could include.
If your child doesn’t want to miss out on the chance to take part in this 14th annual competition then here is all the info you need to know about entering this year.
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is open to any child aged who is under 15 years old and lives in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands and the entries are split into three categories:
The 2021 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is open for entries from the 5th October 2020 and the last date for submission is 4th December 2020. The UK awards ceremony will then be held on the Friday 5th February 2021.
Entries will not be accepted if they include any computer generated images, including collages, cut outs, or anything not hand drawn by you. Designs that have been put together by lots of people also won’t be accepted.
Children can use all forms of coloured pencils, markers, crayons and water paints because the artwork must involve colour, so be sure to draw a background too. Entries also need to be on A3 or A4 paper to be accepted.

Then, once you have your final creation, simply attach the fully completed form (including permission from a parent or legal guardian) and send it to:

In the UK Contest the top three best artworks will be selected in each category and the prizes will be
All winners will also receive a Toyota goody bag.
Also subject to government COVID-19 guidelines, the winners will also be invited to an award ceremony at Toyota GB's Eco Headquarters in Surrey, on the 5th February 2021 to receive their prizes.
All the UK winners will then additionally put forward to the World Contest, in which a grand prize winner from each category and two special award winners will be selected. Each winner will receive $5,000 to spend on educational resources and supplementary prizes of $10,000 will also be awarded to their school or college to spend on educational resources.
