Dates When All Benefits will be Paid Over Christmas 2019

Feeling the pinch over Christmas and eager to know when you will be getting your Child Tax Credits and Other Benefits Payments over Christmas 2019, we have all the dates you need here.

Its worth being aware that due to three bank holidays over the Christmas period, some payments will be made earlier if they’re due between 24th December 2019 and 1st January 2020.

 

Tax Credits

These are the dates for both Working Tax and Child Tax Credits

Wednesday 25th December 2019 - Tuesday 24th December 2019

Thursday 26th December 2019 - Tuesday 24th December 2019

Friday 27th December 2019 - Tuesday 24th December 2019

Monday 30th December 2019 - Monday 30th December 2019

Tuesday 31st December 2019 - Tuesday 31st December 2019

Wednesday 1st January 2020 - Tuesday 31st December 2019

 

Child Benefit

Most child benefit payments are made at the beginning of the week on a Monday or Tuesday, so this year should remain unchanged over Christmas. However, if your payment is usually on a Wednesday or Thursday then you can expect the money to arrive in your account early.
