We have various FREE hands-on activities running throughout the day including:
- Handle real ancient Egyptian artefacts
- Play the ancient game of Senet
- Write your name in hieroglyphs
- Have a go at Mummification
- See if you can solve the Pyramid Puzzle
- Guess the animal
You can Become an Explorer with our Explorer Packs
These packs provide both a fun and educational way for children and families to explore the museum and learn together using hands-on based learning. Each contains an explorer backpack, an explorer hat, a magnifying glass, pencils, a ruler, and a fun activity pack to complete in the galleries. The packs are only £1 to hire from the museum gift shop, and families are able to take their activity books home with them.

There is no visitor parking on campus during weekdays, although there is a pay and display car park 10 minutes’ walk from the museum, located on the Oystermouth Road (recreation ground).
Tuesday to Saturday, 10am until 4pm
