Care Bears are a much-loved childhood memory for many parents. They are colourful, lovable Bears who live in up in the clouds in a place called Care-a-lot, who are on a mission of sharing and caring.
In 2020, Cloudco relaunched Care Bears toys with new master toy partner, Basic Fun allowing the return of the iconic 80’s Care Bear brand to be enjoyed by a new generation of kids.
Now 2022 sees the franchise celebrate their 40th anniversary and with it brings the release of some new fluffy huggable bears with the Unlock the Magic look of vibrant style and cool features.
Recently we have been sent Superstar Bear, in return for us sharing our honest thoughts with you. This is one of the three new bears that have come out, with the other two being True Heart Bear and Daydream Bear.
Care Bears Superstar Bear
Superstar Bear actually first became part of the Care Bear family back in 2006. Known for an outgoing personality and bundle of energy, who always strives to live up to their namesake in everything they do.
Superstar Bear loves being in the spotlight and is a true athlete no matter if it’s a Win, Lose or Draw, just as long as Superstar Bear is dazzling – simply a lover of all sports and games.
Superstar Bear has a try-your-best attitude and has a good sportsmanship as it’s all about friends playing together.
This new cuddly plush bear is about 13 inches high and has super fluffy vibrant yellow fur, ready for unlimited bear hugs and has the cutest bright red love heart nose.
In the same popping red colour is the hearts embroidered into the fluffy yellow paws
The unique belly badge on Superstar Bear is an orange three-layered star with red and yellow borders and a red heart in the middle surrounded by three smaller stars. This belly badge reminds us all how at the at the centre of every star, there is a big heart.
And just like all other Care Bears nestled in the fluffy fur on its bottom is the iconic red heart with Care Bears written on it. It just wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t there!

We are Huge Care Bear Fans, lovers from our own childhood and now having the pleasure of being able to gift them to our own children to enjoy.
We are loving the new Unlock the Magic look to these collectible plush care bears, so brightly coloured and fluffy, all the kids love cuddling into them at bedtime.
They are also totally hooked watching the Unlock the Magic TV series that is on Tiny Pop and the Sky Kids App on their Kindles, so it’s great that we as parents can buy toys to match up with programmes they are enjoying watching so much.
The kids all commented on how soft and squeezable Superstar Bear, it’s been a real hit getting taken everywhere they go, we would 100% recommend that families check out all the New Care Bears as a perfect treats for the kids.
