Neath Port Talbot Parks, Woodlands and Playgrounds

The Afan Valley is an outdoor lover’s paradise and offers lots of opportunities to get out and experience nature.  There is excellent mountain biking, cycling and walking trails for visitors to enjoy.

Cwm Du Glen is a lovely wooded valley leading from The Cross at the centre of Pontardawe which has a beautiful walk along the Clydach stream through the Glanrhyd Plantation.

The Gnoll Country Park is an early-18th-century landscaped garden covering over 240 acres in Neath Port Talbot.

Craig Gwladys Country Park is about 2 miles north of Neath and located on wooded hillside with fab views of the lower Neath Valley

Margam Country Park is a beautiful park by Port Talbot, with around 1,000 acres of land and has plenty of wildlife and activities for all the family to enjoy.
