Neath Port Talbot Easter Holiday Bin Collections 2019

Here is a little helpful reminder that there will be changes, to our bin collections dates for residents in Neath Port Talbot over Easter and what the changes are
Across Neath Port Talbot there will be changes to the day your rubbish is picked from Monday 22nd April until Friday 26th April. The changes are simply that your normal bin collections will take place one day later than usual, so if your normal collection day is:
The all-important dates for when your white recycling and black rubbish bags will be picked up over the Easter period in Neath Port Talbot.
With all collections being back to normal from Monday 29th April. These changes will also affect the garden waste pickups as well.
It is estimated that 90 million chocolate Easter eggs are bought in the UK every year, that’s a lot of cardboard, foil and plastic packaging, so people are being urged to try and recycle as much as possible. Don’t forget to use your White Bags to recycle all those Easter Egg boxes, plastic packaging and Did you know even the foil that wraps your chocolate eggs can be recycled.!
And if you are making a big Easter lunch for all the family, make sure you either compost your vegetable peelings or they go into your food bin, which is collected weekly, along with any leftovers.

Our Local waste recycling centres are all open as usual over Easter
- Bethel Road, Lower Cwmtwrch 9am until 5pm Monday, Thursday and Friday and SATURDAY AND Sunday 10am until 4pm
- Briton Ferry Ind Est, Briton Ferry Neath 8.30am until 5pm
- Margam Street, Port Talbot 11am until 5pm
