Ammanford Food Festival

The very first Ammanford Food Festival is landing this summer, and it’s set to be a real treat for the senses. Nestled in the heart of Quay Street, the Ammanford Food Festival promises a full day of tasty delights, great vibes and relaxed family fun. With free entry and plenty to see (and eat), it’s an ideal pick for those keeping an eye on the summer budget but still wanting a proper day out.

From 9am until 4.30pm, the street will be buzzing with artisan produce stalls and street food traders serving up everything from comforting favourites to bold new flavours. Whether you’re munching your way through local bakes or trying a dish you’ve never tasted before, there’s something for every palate. If your child’s a bit fussy, no worries, there’s loads of variety, so chances are they’ll find something they love.

To make things extra lively, live music kicks off from 11am, adding a warm, festival atmosphere that families can enjoy as they browse. It’s one of those relaxed, drop-in events where you can take your time, wander about and let the kids experience the magic of a bustling street food scene. Added bonus, the Carmarthenshire County Council is offering free parking in its car parks on the day, making it even easier for families to swing by without hassle.

Hosted by Ammanford Town Council and The Means, and supported by Carmarthenshire County Council, this new food festival is already shaping up to be a go to highlight of July. It’s a great excuse to explore the town, try some local goodies and let the kids soak up the cheerful buzz of a community event.
