Get ready to light up the holiday season in style with the Carmarthen Christmas Lights Switch On! It’s that magical time of year again, and we’re thrilled to be back in Carmarthen to spread some festive cheer with you all.

Join in the family fun as Carmarthen Town Council kicks off the Christmas celebrations by illuminating the town with beautiful Christmas lights. And guess who’s making a grand entrance? None other than the jolly old man himself, Father Christmas, arriving on his sleigh pulled by his trusty reindeer. It’s a sight to behold and the perfect way to start the holiday season.

Here’s what’s in store for you on the day at Guildhall Square:

• 10am and 11am: Enjoy some delightful tunes with the Piano Man.
• 10.30am: Class Act takes the stage with their fantastic performance.
• 11.30am: Be mesmerized by the Celtique Twirlers’ captivating routine.
• 12pm: Get ready to party with PS….Parties.
• 1pm: The Carmarthen Symphonic Wind Band will fill the air with musical magic.
• 2pm: BOW Productions will amaze you with their talents.
• 2.30pm: Centre Stage Theatre and Belle will put on a show you won’t forget.
• 3pm: Forge Drama takes the stage with their captivating act.
• 3.45pm: Join in the festive spirit with the Carmarthen Rock Choir.
• 4.15pm: Cor Seingar will serenade you with their beautiful songs.
• 4.30pm: And finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the Christmas Light Switch On!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Head over to Nott Square for even more festivities:

• 11am until 3pm: Visit the Reindeer and get up close with these magical creatures.
• 12pm until 2pm: Meet Father Christmas himself at the Elf Station.
• 1pm until 4pm: Don’t miss the Elf Station for more festive fun.
• 4.45pm until 5pm: Get your groove on with Samba Doc.
• 5pm: And to end the day with a bang, enjoy a spectacular fireworks display!
