As part of British Science Week, this Exploring and painting your dreams event at Swansea Waterfront Museum is family friendly and suitable for children and young people
Would you like to paint a dream you have had? Come and tell your dream to sleep scientist Mark Blagrove and then paint it with artist Julia Lockheart.
You can discuss the dream and how parts of your waking life appear in the dream, and we can tell you some of the science behind how dreams are formed. We will also tell you about the science of sleep and what this tells us about why we dream.
Julia will help you make a painting of the dream, this is projected onto a large screen so that family and friends can see how the painting is being made. You can then take home and keep the painting and display it so that family and friends can see it.
