As part of Swansea’s 50th anniversary as a city celebration, this year’s annual Fireworks Display will take place over the waters of Swansea Bay instead of St Helen’ Ground and it will be free!
Traditionally held at the St Helen’s Ground, for one year only to celebrate 2019 as the 50th anniversary of Swansea’s city status, this year’s spectacular Bonfire Night showpiece will move to a short distance offshore.
The fireworks will be launched from the beach a couple of hundred yards from the Prom. There will be fire shows on the beach before and after the fireworks and entertainment will include walkabout superheroes, stilt walkers, fire jugglers and Glow Bots.
Event Car parks will be open from 5pm and Parking will cost £5 per vehicle and are all pay on arrival. The Car parks are at:
Parking will also be available at Sketty Lane and Singleton Boating Lake Car Parks and the usual city centre car parks.
The display will be visible around the bay (weather permitting), with the best view available on the Prom and beach between the Civic Centre and Brynmill Lane.
