The Annual Great Neath September Fair is back this Autumn and once again it promises to be a fun filled event for the whole family
Great Neath September Fair is a Historic Open-Air Event situated in the centre of Neath and attracts visitors from far and wide.
This annual event has been taking place for many hundreds of years and is a huge favourite with the locals.
Come and Enjoy a generous line-up of Thrill, Family, Kids rides along with side stalls, games and refreshments.
The fair is made up of 3 main events:
Based at Milland Road car park – from Tuesday 10th September to Saturday 10th September 2019, from 6pm until late. The annual Fun Fair is run by the 'Showman's Guild of Great Britain'
located in the main streets of Neath Town centre with up to 140 stalls: from Wednesday 11th September to Saturday 14th September 2019, from 9am until late.
Traders from the UK and Europe attend this four day event selling a vast range of products such as textiles, bulbs and plants, china, pottery and many more and there will be up to 140 stalls, around the streets of Neath Town Centre see the below image for more info of locations.
Also, many of the shops will be open late to coincide with the Fair, giving people a chance to browse.
Situated at the Cattle Market on The Green: On Thursday 12th September 2018, from 8:30am until 2pm (one day only).
From Monday 9th September to Saturday 14th September 2019, road closures will be in force throughout the pedestrianised area of the town.
Please note that the taxi rank which is situated in Wind Street will be relocated to Fairfield Way (other side of the multi-storey car park) for the duration of the street fair.
In addition, there will be road closures on The Green and Commercial Street between 6pm and 12am midnight on Friday 13th September and 1pm to 12am midnight Saturday 14th September 2019, to ensure pedestrian safety.
