Roll up for a fantastical ride up the beanstalk with the ultimate festive pantomime at Lyric Theatre — Jack and the Beanstalk! Theatrau Sir Gâr is whisking us away to a world where magic beans grow into sky-high adventures and greedy giants loom, all in the heart of Carmarthen.

Beanstalk Bound Adventure

Jack, with his mum, Dame Trott, and his brother, are strapped for cash and their village is under the thumb of a giant with more than a few tricks up his sleeve. The stakes? Daisy, the family cow, and their very livelihood. But fear not! Our hero Jack is on a quest that will see him tackling giants, winning hearts, and maybe — just maybe — turning his family’s luck around.

Star-Studded Spectacle

The Lyric Theatre’s stage is set to sparkle with a cast that’s a veritable who’s who of talent. Swansea’s Phillip Arran dons the frock as the lovable Dame Trott, alongside West-end sensation and TV actor Owain Williams as the endearing Lazy Larry. And who could forget Gareth Elis, our dashing Jack, ready to climb his way into our hearts alongside the radiant Chantelle Morgan as Jill? With the infamous Sion Tudor Owen playing the villain you love to boo, Fleshcreep, it’s bound to be a performance to remember.

Festive Fun Awaits

Expect a Christmas cracker of a show, brimming with laugh-out-loud slapstick, awe-inspiring sets, dazzling special effects, and show-stopping musical numbers. This ‘moo-vellous’ panto at the Lyric Theatre is just the ticket for a family-friendly festive outing.

It’s a homecoming of sorts too; after a four-year break, the Lyric is overjoyed to be back with a bang, producing this panto extravaganza with the expertise of Imagine Theatre. So, if you’re hankering for a dose of seasonal cheer, look no further than Jack and the Beanstalk at Lyric.
