This May Half Term Scolton Manor will be full of mini-beast mayhem as we discover the Wonderful World of Insects.
Everyday you’ll be able to challenge yourself to our ‘Bugtastic Quizzes’ and get creative in our ‘Mini-Beast Makes’ craft area in the manor house. Both activities are included in the normal admission
There’s plenty of fun to have outside too! Follow the ‘Incredible Insects’ trail around the grounds and work out the answers to the brilliant bug facts to win a prize. Or, why not try your hand at completing our ‘Creepy Crawly Challenge’ activity course up by the manor house.
If you’d like your garden to become a haven for buzzy bees and beautiful butterflies why not consider coming to our ‘Make-your-own’ seed bomb activity on Thursday 30th May. Between 1pm and 4pm get hands-on making some pollinator-friendly seed bombs. Tickets cost £2 per child and are available from the Welcome Centre near the car park. (Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Or, perhaps you’d like to join us for a ‘Marvellous Mini-Beasts’ session to see what brilliant bugs you’ll be able to discover in our woods. Sessions start at 11.30am and 1.30pm on Friday 31st May and cost £2 per child. Spaces are limited so booking in advance is advisable.
