Merrymakers' Knight School at Pembroke Castle

This is a fab family friendly event, where you can do it right and be a Knight, this May Bank Holiiday Weekend at Pembroke Castle

This great, fun event will put you through your paces, teach you new skills and knightly techniques, and give you the chance to become a Castle Knight...

The band of Merrymakers Knight Trainers led by Sir Benfro of Pembroke Castle will take you through some brilliant tasks including dressing up as a Knight or Knightess, marching in the Merrymakers Procession, learning how to act knightly such as swearing allegiance, bowing and curtseying, storming the Castle gates, and learning sword skills. 

Activities are supervised but a parent or guardian must be present at all times with children taking part.

There will be four Knight School sessions throughout the day which will last approx 50 minutes. Sessions take place at 11:00, 12:15, 13:45 & 15:00.

The Castle Opening hours are 9.30am until 5.30pm

This event is included in castle admission, and does not need to be booked.

Children (3-15yrs)/Seniors (65+)/Registered Disabled / Carer (you may be asked to produce proof of disability allowance)   £5.50
