As part of the Cadw Open Doors this year Dylan Thomas Boathouse and Writing Shed will be offering visitors free entry for the day.
This was the last home of poet Dylan Thomas and his family, where poems such as "Do not go Gentle" were written in the nearby Writing Shed, a former garage set on stilts in the cliff with stunning and inspiring views of the estuary.
The Writing Shed will be open to the public, and there will be an explosion of music in the garden as the culmination of an interactive sound sculpture installation by artist in residence, Laura Garrett.
