Love will be in the air at the Gower Heritage Centre this weekend when we celebrate the life and times of the Welsh Patron Saint of Lovers
Join us on this special weekend where we’ll be celebrating the magical story of the Welsh patron saint of friendship and love, St Dwynwen.
Activities will include a family friendly re-enactment of St Dwynwen’s life which in true panto fashion, will feature a heroine and wicked father who plots to rid her of her love.
The story will be followed by games and challenges, along with a hunt the Spoon Quiz with clues to the love tokens whereabouts hidden around the centre and a treasure hunt with a romantic twist with St Dwynwen herself
You can also watch the making of a Celtic Knot Bread. Bara Santes Dwynwen is a sweet bread traditionally shared by lovers and you can ave a go at forming your own Celtic Knot
There will also be Puppet Shows and Crafts, Quizzes plus lots more!
