Storytelling Weekend at National Botanic Garden of Wales

Start Date: 20 July 2018
End Date: 21 July 2018
Start Time: 11:00 pm
End Time: 11:00 pm

Myths, fables, tall tales and mysteries, fairy stories and ancient legends…they are all part of the National Botanic Garden’s first Festival of Storytelling.

There will also be a book fair on all weekend. From wicked yarns for grown-ups to tales for the youngest family members, there are stories for everyone. Explore Welsh legends linked to our famous Black Cattle, meet a storyteller in a coracle, explore the weird and wonderful history of Carmarthenshire and hear traditional tales from the Swansea Valley.

You will find our storytellers in a variety of venues all over the Garden, making the most of everything the Garden has to offer.

Plus: The Reluctant Dragon, an outdoor theatre production by Quantum Theatre at 2pm on both days.
