Due to the current situation of Coronavirus many events across West Wales have been cancelled. Where we can we are updating our listing to reflect this, but information is not always being given to us in a timely fashion, so we must remind everyone to check before travelling to any event.

Welsh Cheese and Cider Festival

Start Date: 04 May 2019
End Date: 06 May 2019

In October the apples were harvested, scattered, and the juice put into barrels to ferment. Now is the time to taste this traditional beverage! And what better way than to pair our local ciders with our amazing welsh cheeses.

Mix all this with a day and evening of amazing entertainment, plenty of fun for all the family, Morris dancers, musicians, demonstrations and much more! It’s going to be three days of fun festivities over the bank holiday!

The Gower Cheese and Cider Festival offers visitors a wide selection of locally produced, award winning cheese, cider and Perry from Wales. There will also be stalls and live music until late.

Visitors will be able to sample and enjoy some of the best cider Wales has to offer. There will also be a great variety of ciders such as our very own Gower produced cider called the Mill House cider along with many more.

There will also be advice on how to make apple juice or cider and there will be a traditional 1890s travelling cider press on site with apple press demonstrations taking place. There will also be a Gower roast and BBQ along with the Mill Tearooms serving a wide range of welsh classics; and not forgetting the popular Welsh Cream Tea, which will be served all day. Bar and BBQ open throughout
