Dick Whittington meets Puss in Boots Pantomime

Dick Whittington meets Puss in Boots Pantomime

Start Date: 11-01-2019
End Date: 13-01-2019

Rainbow valley productions are back with Dick Whittington meets Puss in Boots pantomime, in Tumble Carmarthenshire this winter.

The tale of Dick Whittington and his Cat is well known to children of all ages, as is the story of Puss In Boots. Both stories have been successfully adapted into pantomimes over the years. But this year, for the first time, Rainbow Valley Productions are bringing these two legendary heroes together in one spectacular pantomime packed with songs, dancing and comedy.

When Dick Whittington arrives in London from Gloucester to seek his fortune, he is penniless and alone. But his luck changes when he teams up with the swashbuckling Spanish swordsman Puss In Boots, the self-proclaimed “Magnificent Moggie From Malaga” who has arrived in London on a very special mission of his own – which he keeps secret until the closing moments of the show.

Dick and Puss are offered jobs as crewmen on the sailing ship ‘Saucy Sal’ which sets out on a perilous sea voyage to deliver rat poison to the Sultan of Morocco whose palace is over-run with rodents. Unknown to our heroes, their arch-enemy King Rat has sneaked on board ship and when their paths eventually cross at the Sultan’s Palace, a frantic sword fight ensues, and the fur really begins to fly!

Along the way, Dick finds time to fall in love with pretty, free-spirited Alice Fitzwarren and have plenty of laughs with his daft pal Billy and that man-eating ‘Miss’...Sarah The Cook.

With two heroes for the price of one, this year Dick Whittington and Puss In Boots promises to be double the fun and double the excitement!
