There is a lovely independent charity-run community pool. Aside from swimming sessions, you can enjoy Swimming Lessons, Parent, Baby, and Toddler classes, Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, and Daily Family Fun Sessions during School Holidays, as well as Free Swimming Sessions for under 16-year-olds.

Swimming Lessons

Discover swimming from age four and a half with beginner classes for up to 8 pupils. Aberaeron Swimming Pool offers intermediate and advanced levels too. £6.50 per lesson, paid in advance per half term. Classes on Mon to Thu, 4-5.30 pm, Fri includes lane training. 5-day crash courses during holidays at 10-10:30 am. Limited spots! Also, explore Seren Mor swim school for parent, baby, and toddler classes. Booking essential.

Parties and Pool Hire

Celebrate at Aberaeron Swimming Pool with birthday parties and exclusive pool rentals! Enjoy the whole pool for £70 per hour or a lane for £25.00. Start your own regular club booking for £68. Birthday party packages start from £70, featuring fun floats and water polo. Make your event unforgettable!

Changing rooms and showers are available, with lockers that you’ll need £1 coin for which is returnable.

This pool has no spectator areas.

Opening Times

The pool is open from 6.30am until 7.30pm daily, with different sessions and access times throughout the day, as displayed within the seasonal timetable.

The times for over the Summer School Holidays are: –

U16s in Wales Free Swim Sessions on Thursday and Sunday between 12pm and 2pm, You’ll need to call to book. Also the timetable is subject to change e.g. No 10-11am public sessions Wednesdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd + No family fun 7th, 14th, 21st August.

Advance booking is advised for Family fun sessions as they can sell out over the Summer.
