Borth Beach in Ceredigion is well loved by local families and is perfect for kids to swim, surf or just play on the beach
The best time to visit is when the tide is out as there is loads of sand to play on and make sandcastles a plenty.
This is a popular beach for walkers as well, as the local coastal paths pass close to the beach.
The water is good and Borth Beach also hold a well respected Blue Flag and Seaside Awards so you can trust this is a clean safe beach to take the family to.
During the Summer time peak which is around the end of June until early September, there is a RNLI Lifeguard service daily between 10am and 6pm.
And there is also restrictions for dogs on the beach between May through to end of September
