Hogwarts in the Snow
The Warner Brothers Studios have revealed that once again people can visit Hogwarts in the snow, the festive transformation will take place from Saturday 16th November until Sunday 26th January 2020. Just like in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, when it was the celebration of the Triwizard Tournament, the Great Hall will be decorated as it was for the iconic Yule Ball. Covered in shimmering silver, dripping icicles and sparkling snow. This Spectacular sight will see the Great Hall transformed with snow-covered Christmas trees, icicles and an orchestra of magical instruments.
As part of the Hogwarts in the Snow event, many of the iconic sets housed at the Studio Tour will receive a festive makeover. The Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory will be decorated with the original props including handmade Christmas cards and the fireplaces throughout the Studio Tour will be ‘lit’ with special effects fire.
The Weasley kitchen set will also be dressed for the occasion with streamers, Christmas crackers and a festive feast.
The Hogwarts castle model will be transformed with a layer of filmmaking snow and you will even be able to touch samples of the different types of ‘snow’ used during production, each selected for its ability to float like falling snow, crunch under foot or glisten in the light like ice.

Christmas Dinner in the Great Hall
A Special feast and Studio Tour can be enjoyed by your family at this Christmas. For just three evenings in December from 6pm on Monday the 9th, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th you can attend the “Dinner in the Great Hall” Wizarding Event.
Guests will be greeted with welcome drinks and canapes before stepping through the doors of the wizarding school into the Great Hall which will be decorated with original props and lined with Christmas Trees and Flaming Christmas Puddings on the long tables, where you will sit in the original seats from the Movie.
You will be served a festive two course meal which includes both a vegetarian or vegan option, before exploring the Gryffindor common room and the Weasley’s kitchen from The Burrow. When you arrive at Platform 9 ¾ you can pick from a selection of festive dessert bowls to enjoy right next to the original Hogwarts Express locomotive.
All guest will be given Butterbeer in the backlot café and you will have the opportunity to walk up the wizarding shopping street of Diagon Alley. The evening will conclude with music and dancing, with a bar provided for those who wish to purchase additional drinks.
