Your Family will love spending time at Cefn Sidan Beach in Carmarthenshire, it is the perfect FREE fun Family Day out
Cefn Sidan Beach is a golden sandy beach that is 7 ½ miles lone and it has 10 access points to the beach. One of the most popular entry points is rom Pembrey Country Park, however be mindful the country park has an entry fee to drive your car into. This beach has a very large sand area and its worth noting that the tide can go out almost a mile on some tides which means a really long walk for a paddle!
There is lifeguard’s patrols from the end of May to early September (10am – 6pm) during weekends and school holidays only. Also between May and September dogs as banned from the main 1 mile of beach.
There are some great facilities at Cefn Sands such as Cafe/restaurant, Toilets, Disabled facilities, First aid point, Lost child centre and Shop. There is also a fab children’s play area in Pembrey Country Park.
