Your Family will love spending time at Aberavon Sands Beach in Neath and Port Talbot, it is the perfect FREE Family Day Out
Aberavon Sands is a big beach extending to 2 ½ miles. The beach is mainly sand and has a concrete sea wall along the promenade and cycle path.
There is lifeguard patrol on this beach from mid May to early September from 10am to 6pm daily and there is restrictions on dos being allowed on the beach during these months. There is plenty of free roadside parking along the seafront as well as near by pay and display car parks. This is a fab beach for surfers but maybe not learners as there is often some rip current.
There are good facilities at this beach such as toilets, café, children’s paddling pool and fun play area.
