Barafundle Bay

Barafundle Bay is a small but perfect beach in Pembrokeshire that any family will love for a back to Nature Family Day Out.
Barafundle Bay is a little gem that has featured in Country Life and is one of Wales’ best-known beaches. It’s a stunning beach with a wide stretch of golden sand overlooked by limestone cliffs, which gives it a secluded feel.
Barafundle Bay is owned by the Stackpole Estate and managed by the National Trust keeping it as one of Pembrokeshire’s unspoilt charms.
This beach is in quite an isolated location with the nearest car park is in Stackpole Quay over half a mile walk over cliffs and that walk really isn’t suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
The car park isn’t very cheap, although free to National Trust members, but one thing to be mindful of before arriving.
There is no Lifeguard service at this beach and no facilities on by the beach itself with the nearest toilets and cafe back at Stackpole Quay.
Dogs are allowed here all year round
