Broadhaven South Beach
Broadhaven South Beach is a large sandy beach in Pembrokeshire that any family will love for a Family Day Out.
Broadhaven South Beach is a fav for local families as during the summer months there is a lifeguard service and ice cream stand. It doesn’t really feel crowded so there is always plenty of space to play beach games and build mammoth sandcastles.
The south-west area of the beach is classed as the hotspot with surfers when conditions are right. However, currents here can be strong and change quickly.
Access to the beach from the north end is a pretty walk along the board walks through the dunes and past lily ponds. From the south end access involves a lot of climbing down some steeps steps cut into the side of one of the encircling cliffs, so not he most family friendly route to the beach.
The nearest facilities can be found in the village Bosherton such as cafes, pubs, and shops. Dogs are allowed here all year round
