Monkstone Beach
Monkstone Beach is a sandy and pretty remote beach in Pembrokeshire and maybe not the easiest of beaches to take the Family to.
You can find Monkstone beach between Saundersfoot and Tenby and is mainly accessed via a footpath through Trevayne Farm which you are allowed to use. This footpath is super steep and includes steps and definitely not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. You can walk Monkstone beach from Saudersfoot beach, but you will need to time this in with the tide times so to be honest it’s maybe not the wises move with little kids.
Also talking of tide times, unless you pick the right time to visit Monkstone Beach you might not have much beach to play on as in high tide almost all the sand is hidden.
In saying that if you are looking for a beach to explore this is a cool one, with awesome rock pools for the kids and there is spots here if you’re into a bit of sea fishing.
There is no lifeguard service here and dogs are allowed here all year round
