Nevern Show

Since Nevern’s first horticultural fair back in 1929, the Nevern Show has grown into one of Pembrokeshire’s most popular agricultural events, and it’s easy to see why. There are livestock classes with cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry, equine events including showjumping, and agricultural competitions covering everything from field crops to dairy herds.

Vintage displays bring classic tractors and machinery to the showground, while sheep shearing and horseshoeing demonstrations give a real taste of country life. Children are well catered for with games, competitions and funfair rides, and there’s even the chance to get up close with some of the animals.

Trade stands sell local food, crafts and produce, and tractor races add a bit of extra excitement to the day. Run by volunteers and committee members, it’s very much a community event, with local farming families coming together each year for a fun day out in the summer sun. Judging starts 9am, with tradestands open throughout the day.

About the Venue

The showground is at Bayvil, easily reached from the A487 coast road between Newport and Cardigan via the B4582. Parking is free on site, with ringside parking available for patrons, and dogs on leads are welcome.

Ticket Prices

Discounted tickets are available online until midnight on 31st July, priced at £10 for adults, £5 for children (5 to 15), or £25 for a family of two adults and two children. After that, full price tickets on the gates cost £13 for adults, £5 for children, or £28 for a family ticket. Buying early is the better option if you want to save a bit.
