If you looking for an easy to make fun snack to make with the kids over the school holidays that also has a Halloween theme to it then this Chocolate Chip Vampire Cookies Recipe will tick all the boxes for you.
Ingredients for the Chocolate Chip Vampire Cookies
240g Self Raising Flour
125g Light Muscovado Sugar
75g Unsalted Butter
1 Egg
150g Chocolate Chips
Mini Marshmallows
Red Food Colouring
Icing Sugar
Almond Flakes
What Else you Will Need to Make these Chocolate Chip Vampire Cookies
Weighing Scales
Bowl
Round Cookie Cutter
Baking paper
Method to Make Chocolate Chip Vampire Cookies
For the Cookies
Pre-heat the oven at 180°C / Gas Mark 4
Cream the butter and sugar together
Then beat the egg into the mixture
Mix in the chocolate chips
Roll out the cookie dough and cut out the round cookie shapes
Place baking paper on a baking tray
Put the cookies onto the baking tray and bake for 10 minutes
For the Decoration
Mix the icing sugar with water so its not too runny
Add in the red food colouring to the icing sugar
Cut the cookie in half
Spread the red icing sugar one half of the cookie and place the mini marshmallows around the edge before placing the other half of the cookie on top
Using scissors cut out vampire shape fangs from the Almonds and push into the icing at the front of the cookies
