Llanerchaeron
Llanerchaeron is an eighteenth-century Welsh estate in Ceredigion on the River Aeron with walled gardens. The house was designed and built for Colonel William Lewis by John Nash in the early part of his career.
The estate was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1989 by one of Colonel William’s descendants. You can enjoy an elegant Georgian villa, set in the wooded Aeron valley, which is remarkably unaltered for over 200 years, this self-sufficient estate including a farm, walled gardens, kitchen garden and lake.
