Looking for the perfect present for friends or family this Christmas or want to gift yourself with a money saver, then we have picked out 10 of our Favourite Family Annual Memberships in West Wales that will be enjoyed all year round.
A Family Annual Membership for a venue or for an activity is not just for Christmas. It’s a fab gift idea from grandparents, and for those people that have everything.
Family Annual Passes are also a prefect pressie for yourself, with some of our favs running discounts around this time of year, you could snap up a real bargain for your Family to get out and about over Christmas, Feb Half Term and Easter and something that will have already paid for its self come the Kids Summer School Holidays.
Here at West Wales Family Life we have held a Family Membership for many places in West Wales so we thought we would share with you our Top 10, which happen to be firm favourites with the kids not just the parents and ones that we are more than happy to recommend to other local families.
This Annual Membership offers some awesome savings as for £25 a year your little one can get unlimited public swimming at any Pembrokeshire Leisure Centre
This membership is applicable for any child aged 3 to 16 and in our opinion is fab for the older kids when their friends have it too, as they can enjoy their free time together at the swimming pool.
For those who might not be aware the national free-swimming initiative has changed for under 16’s which means in Pembrokeshire they now have access to 2 hours free swimming every weekend. If these times are not convenient for you, this is when the Junior Annual Swim Pass comes into its own, offering a huge saving, it allows you to go when it suits you and includes Splash Time!
These Annual Swim Passes can be used at Pembroke, Tenby, Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, Fishguard and Crymych Centres. So, if you fancy getting one for your little one, you can purchase them at their receptions.

Think Easter….. We first got our years membership all because of Easter, and can say we made our money back in just 2 weeks of School holidays at Easter as we visited all the local National Trust Venues so the kids could take part in their Cadburys Easter Egg Hunts.
That being said word on the street is that 2020 could be the last year of Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts being held with National Trust as they are looking to part ways due to ethical reasons over Cadbury using palm oil and just not being in line with the conservation mindset of Nation Trust, but we would be shocked that if this happened they wouldn’t replace them with equally fun Egg Hunts for the kids and after all its the venues that the kids are enjoying run around looking for clues irrelevant of the prize being Cadburys or another form of sweet treat!
A National Trust family membership actually gives you free entry into over 500 places in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland, which also includes Free parking at most of the Car Parks.
Locally to West Wales there are around 23 locations you can visit with your membership if you don’t want to travel too far. Most of which you will find listed in our Places to Go in West Wales Pages and they include the popular Dinefwr estate, Colby Woodlands, Aberdulais Tinworks and Llanerchaeron
You can pay for a year membership either in one lump sum payment or spread the costs with a monthly direct debit.
