We have recently been gifted a cute My Squishy Little Dumpling to check out with the kids in return for us sharing our honest review with our readers.
There are four Squishy Little Dumplings to collect, and they each have their own big personalities, which you can find out about by opening the “Learn About Me” flap when you open the box. This is where you can see what they love, and like to eat and which accessories you can dress them up in.
Actually, when you open the box, it has loads of information on the fold out flaps, such as learning Squish Pop which is an explanation to what words your Squishy Little Dumplings says as well as how to play with your character.
There are four different characters you can collect, and they are called Dee, Dot, Dip and Doe. They each come with their own unique accessories and they each have their own reactions and favourite song.
We were sent Doe and she came with a Flower headband and sleep mask which the kids thought was super cute
The other characters accessories include Dee with pretty heart glasses and bow headband, Dot with glasses and cap and Dip with a set of star head boppers and star glasses
As mentioned earlier you will read how to play with your character as you unbox them on the fold out flaps for example if you squeeze and hold their cheeks this is how you tickle them to hear them giggle. Then if you squeeze their cheeks twice you will hear them sing their favourite song.
One of our favourite play moves is if you pop their body back in and turn them over you hear them say “Wee Woo Boomba” in the cutest voice.
Plus, if you throw them up in the air and catch them you will hear more reactions and each character has its own reactions.
One of the reactions is when their little cheeks and hair flashes different coloured lights and each light depicts their different moods so for example if it flashes pink, it means they are in a loving mood, yellow a dreamy mood, orange they are amused, green they are feeling energetic and red they are feeling silly.
Sensory Play can offer a child a really positive experience, it basically includes any activity that stimulates their senses of touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing, as well as anything that can engage movement and balance.
Some of the benefits we have found interactive play can offer children includes:

These are the cutest little characters; their faces are all soft and squishy and they are the ideal size toy for kids little hands to hold and play with.
We thought they were very unique and the kids did really enjoy playing with them for hours, and not just for one day this is where the added bonus comes in that the more they play with them the more reactions are unlocked and the kids playing with them still have not managed to unlock them all as yet, so we have to say they are fab as they are not just a short lived fad they do offer a great value for money toy option for treats, birthdays or gifting and we would definitely recommend them for families to check them out.
