Make some awesome Memories and add more Family fun to this year’s Halloween and Pick your own Pumpkins. We all know just how much fun we can have carving your own family pumpkin so why not add a like more magic to it this year and take the kids to the farm to pick their own.
In 2020 Halloween is going to be very different for many families due to the Coronavirus outbreak and some Pumpkin Patches have decided not to open, So to help you find this information here are some of the places in West Wales where you can Pick your Own Pumpkin and clarity on if they are open this year.
This year you can the family along to explore an area of the Pumpkin Farm near Newport in Pembrokeshire.
Not only will you be able to pick your perfect pumpkin in the patch in the flower meadow but the kids can enjoy exploring the spooky trail, playing hide and seek around the spooky hale bales and if the weather allows eat up all the yummy marshmallows and pumpkin around the firepit.
The Pumpkin patch will be open from 10.30am until 5pm on Sunday 11th, Saturday 17th, Sunday 18th and then Friday 23rd to 31st October.
It is Free to visit and you simply pay for the pumpkins you pick which range from £4 depending on the size you pick.
Due to the current Covid situation it will be a great help if you let them know which day and rough time you plan on visiting so they can ensure a safe pumpkin picking experience for everyone.

This Year the patch will NOT be running
Due to an enormous response in 2018 the farm was completely overwhelmed with visitors, which left them unable to offer the fun, friendly and safe experience that they have become known for.
They are still considering all options for the future and there is still plenty going on, with an expansion planned for the Flower Meadow so to offer customers the chance to come and pick their own flowers for that special occasion, such as a wedding or an event next year.
Penyfodau Fawr Farm have announced that due to the current coronavirus outbreak and the continued increase of cases rising across the country with frequent changes to government rules and guidelines that they are cancelling all plans for their Pick your Own Pumpkin Patch in 2020
Although this has been an extremely difficult and sad decision for the farm to make, it has been made so to prioritise the health and safety of the public and staff. And are already planning to come back bigger, better and stronger next year!!

Take your family to Pick one of Greenacre’s own home-grown Pumpkins of all sizes from their Pumpkin Patch this year, you can be sure no two are the same!
Spooky Shenanigans will be going on with little one’s welcome to come dressed up and trying to choose your pumpkin when Glinda the witch is not looking!
You can expect a nice selection of pumpkins, hot food served all day including everyone’s favourite crepes, spooky spider trail, lots of photo opportunities, fire pit for marshmallows and lots more to create great memories.

The Pumpkin Patch this year will be open every day from 6th to 30th October (While stocks last) Times open will range between 9.30am and 5.30pm each day adn for exact details per day you can see this information on their website.

Once again the Gower Fresh Christmas Trees are hosting a Pumpkin Picking event, where you can pick your own. However this year different to previous you will require a tickets needed and they will cost £7.49 per car, although information is not very clear to if you also need to additionally pay for the pumpkin you pick.
Opening times will be from 10th October until the end of October, from 9am until 4pm every day.
Last year the Prices of the Pumpkins ranged from £3 to £4
The Woodland Farm between Haverfordwest and Narberth has a friendly and easy-access Little Pumpkin Patch and a fab spooky Craft Table in their Greenwood Barn with lots of silly and fun crafts to do together as a family.
However due to the situation with Covid this year they will NOT be opening their Pumpkin Patch in 2020

The Pumpkin Patch at Windsor Farm near Pembroke, will be open for its second year in 2020. They have a large selection of Pumpkins all undercover in their Pumpkin Patch, so no matter the weather you will be able to find your perfect pumpkin for Halloween.
There will be signs out from Lamphey village up to the farm and the patch will be open in 2020, however the exact dates are still to be confirmed and we will update them here as soon as we are given them
