Oriel Myrddin Gallery

The Oriel Myrddin Gallery is the main publicly funded art and craft gallery for the south-west Wales region and is located in a listed Victorian building in the centre of Carmarthen and is supported by The Arts Council of Wales.

The gallery has many temporary exhibitions, special events, hosts many workshops, talks and events suitable for families and local community.

Fortnightly they run the Oriel Myrddin’s Young Artists Club which gives young people aged 8-11 an opportunity to experiment with a range of art techniques, explore their creativity and make friends with the gallery.

The Oriel Myrddin Gallery also plays host to Criw Celf, which is an Arts Council of Wales funded project which offers art master classes for young people who are more able and talented in visual arts.
