Nadiya’s Bake Me a Story Deluxe Baking Set Review

We love getting in the kitchen and making a mess with the kids as we bake something Yummy together as a family. So, we were very excited to be given the chance to let the kids take the lead when they got to try out the New Nadiya’s Bake Me a Story Deluxe Baking Set this week.

Our family have always loved baking together, but like most the national lockdown gifted us some extra time to bake even more, which has definitely inspired the kids to want to take the lead and bake new and more challenging things.

The Creator Behind Nadiya’s Bake Me a Story Children’s Baking Sets

Once again as the Iconic Great British Bake off show is on our television’s we are reminded how many of its contestants have gone onto to be celebrities, just like past winner Nadiya Hussain.

Since winning the Great British Bake Off back in 2015, Nadiya Hussain has achieved loads. Such as hosting TV shows like “The Big Family Cooking Showdown” and “Nadiya Family Favourites”

She has also appeared at many Food Exhibitions and written best seller books including the Children’s Book “Bake Me A Story”

And more recently Nadiya has even been made an MBE for her services to broadcasting and to the culinary arts.

Now though 2020 sees Nadiya’s adding to her culinary career by launching a fab range of baking sets just for children.

As the co-presenter of Junior Bake Off and a Mum who loves to bake with her own kids, she is the perfect person to design practical and fun baking sets for kids to enjoy.

Nadiya has designed these bake sets in hope that by the kids having their own baking set it will give them confidence to bake and believe they can.

As parents we are always on the hunt for fun ways to help our kids learn new life skills including cooking and baking in the hub of our home our family kitchen. So, we are so excited to have been sent the Nadiya’s New Bake Me a Story Deluxe Baking Set to check out with the kids in return for sharing with you our honest thoughts.

Inside our Deluxe Children’s Baking Set

The kids were really impressed when they tipped out all the content of our purple box as it was full of everything they needed to get baking, it included: –

A Mixing Bowl
A Rolling Pin
A Whisk
A Spatula
12 reusable Silicone Baking Cases
A Sieve
2 Metal Cookie Cutters, with a rubber rim – One in the shape of a Star, One a Flower and the Other a little man shape
A set of Measuring Spoons
6 Recipes Cards

And

We found all the items included were fab for the kids to use, as they are the perfect size for their little hands, no sharp corners and all so handy to be popped in the dishwasher to be cleaned.

We were sent the largest set which was the Deluxe Baking Set Each of the three sets come with different items inside them, with different recipes and can all be ordered from Amazon or Smyths Toy Store where they range from £24.99 to £14.99 each

Would we Recommend Nadiya Children Baking Set?

It has been lush for the kids to have their own baking sets and it has actually given them a natural ownership of what we are baking.

Everything is so easy for the kids to use and clean and following recipes is such a great way for kids to improve their reading skills as well as maths skill as they have to weigh and measure ingredients out, so we for that reason we loved Nadiya’s recipes that were included.

We have used this Baking set a good few times now and so far cant see any fault with it so we would totally recommend it to other families to check out and a perfect addition to any School Holiday to keep the little ones happy
