REVIEW: Snapsies Surprise Capsules
Our kids are totally besotted with mystery blind pack and reveal style toys, so when we heard about the New Snapsies Collectable Toys from Funko, we were very excited to check them out. Snapsies surprise capsule are a new addition to the mystery reveal trend of toys and are hitting the stores in the UK now.
Snapsies is Funko’s first ever dedicated toy range designed to let kids play and get creative and we have been very lucky to have been kindly sent one of their surprise capsules to open and explore in return for us sharing with you our honest thoughts about them.
Unboxing Snapsies from Funko
When we opened our Snapsies surprise capsule we found three blind bags to open, inside which the kids had fun unwrapping 10 surprises, including various animal body parts and stickers.
Each Snapsies capsule has enough mystery body parts to make two different collectible animals and there are 18 different characters that you can collect, including all the popular animals that kids are loving just now such as unicorns, dolphins, dragons and lamas
Inside our Snapsies Surprise Capsule we got:
- One head
- Two faces
- One body
- Two tails
- Two hairstyles
- Two accessories – a hat and skirt
- And a sticker sheet
The clever thing about Snapsies is that all the body parts and accessories are completely interchangeable. Which means that the more Snapsies Surprise Capsules you have the more you can mix and match to make a load of different characters.
The kids can spend hours tapping into their imagination making all different quirky types of magical animals which will no doubt come with plenty of giggles.
Would we Recommend Snapsies for your Child?
These Snapsies were a big hit with our kids, they offer a fab mystery unboxing experience and all the pieces were sturdy and well made.
The snap and match element of the body parts was easy for little hands to manage and not lose so the bodies didn’t fall apart, which was refreshing.
Your little one will for sure get more out of these Snapsies the more you have, as it will allow them to make more characters, which is obviously the whole point of these collectibles.
All in all, we think these are a neat idea and the animal are so adorable, so would totally recommend families check them out as they could make a fab Christmas Stocking Filler or Birthday Pressie option.
