Why the TeaJoy Bubble Tea Home Kit Is Worth Every Sip

Bubble tea – or boba tea – is more than a trend; it’s a full-blown obsession. That’s why we couldn’t wait to try the TeaJoy Bubble Tea home kit, a fun, hands-on set designed to let families make four delicious bubble teas from the comfort of home. If your household is anything like ours, the kids have either asked to try bubble tea or have already become full-time fans. But regular bubble tea runs can quickly add up.

Made by the brand TeaJoy, this kit offers everything you need to make four full-size bubble teas at home. Not only does it come with reusable cups, straws, flavoured teas, boba and creamer, it also makes the whole process wonderfully easy to follow – even for younger children. At just £12, the TeaJoy Bubble Tea home kit is great value, packed with quality, and delivers the kind of joy you can sip.

We’ve tried it, tasted it, and had a blast making it. Here’s exactly what you can expect from the TeaJoy Bubble Tea home kit and why we think it might be your next go-to treat for family time, gifting, or simply trying something new.

Inside the Box: Exactly What’s Included

TeaJoy Bubble Tea Review Box

When the kit arrived, the first thing we noticed was the sturdy box – well-packaged and appealing enough to give as a gift straight away. Inside, everything was clearly labelled and looked high-quality. Here’s what you get:

  • 4 reusable plastic tumbler cups
  • 4 lids to match the cups
  • 4 sturdy straws
  • 2 tea syrup sachets
  • 2 tubs of popping boba (Strawberry & Mango)
  • 2 sachets of creamer
  • Easy-to-follow printed instructions

Whats in the box

We particularly liked the design of the cups and lids – they weren’t flimsy at all, and the straws held up perfectly even after a good stir and plenty of sipping. The inclusion of everything needed in one box means there’s no scrambling to find extras. It’s all there, ready to go.

Using and Testing: A Sweet Family Moment

We tested the TeaJoy Bubble Tea home kit on a rainy weekend afternoon, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The kit is suitable for children aged 6 and up (with adult supervision for the mixing stage), and our little testers had no trouble following the instructions.

The two flavours included are:

Passionfruit Jasmine Tea with Strawberry Boba – this one uses the syrup mixed with water and is served over ice. It’s fruity, refreshing, and has a great balance of flavour.

Pineapple Milk Tea with Mango Boba – this version includes a creamer mixed with warm water before adding the syrup and ice. Creamy, sweet, and tropical.

Both drinks were a big hit. The instructions are simple and clear, and everything comes together quickly. The best part, we thought were the boba pearls! They pop in your mouth and give that authentic bubble tea experience.

Our little testers loved the DIY aspect, from opening the tubs to stirring their drinks and choosing which boba to go for. For sure the fun was in the making as much as the tasting. We also noticed that the quality of the cups and straws meant the kids could reuse them, which adds extra value and reduces waste.

Honest Pros and Cons

We’re massive fans of bubble tea and have to say that this TeaJoy Bubble Tea home kit impressed us from the first sip to the last. Here’s what stood out:

Pros:

  • Great quality as expected from TeaJoy
  • Clear, easy instructions
  • All-in-one set with no extras needed
  • Fun and engaging for kids
  • Reusable cups and straws
  • Affordable at just £12

Cons:

  • Only two flavours included – we’d love to see more in future kits
  • Boba is sweet, so it’s a sometimes a task to remind kids, that for them it’s a treat rather than an everyday drink

But really, for the price and the joy it brings, we think it’s a brilliant buy.
