Salem Christmas Tree Farm and Shop

For a magical festive tradition, head to Salem Christmas Tree Farm near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, where families can pick their very own real Christmas tree. Open daily from 10am until dusk starting Saturday 9th November, the farm is a cherished destination for families, welcoming visitors until noon on 23rd December. With over 35 years of experience, Salem Christmas Tree Farm offers a warm and traditional experience for everyone who visits.

Arriving down a charming country lane, you’ll step into a festive wonderland. Families are invited to wander through the fields of carefully grown, bushy Christmas trees and choose the one that’s just right for their home. Armed with a provided axe or saw—and adult-size wellies if needed—you can cut down your tree and take it to the car park, where it will be netted for easy transport. Prefer not to cut your own? The farm shop has a wide selection of pre-cut trees, ready and waiting. Options include Norway Spruce, Nordman Fir, and Blue Spruce, with prices starting at £32.50 for a 5ft Norway Spruce and £40 for a 5ft Nordman Fir. Small potted trees are also available.

Santa will also be spreading Christmas cheer at the farm! From 16th November to 22nd December, he’ll be in the shop from 11am to 4pm on weekends, greeting children and handing out small gifts. Visits are by appointment only, so call 01558 822083 to book your magical meeting.
