Borth Carnival Family Fun Day

Borth Carnival Family Fun Day is back for another cheerful summer celebration, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best family outings of the season. Hosted at Ysgol Craig Yr Wylfa in Borth from 10am until 2pm, this upbeat event offers something for every age. With a great mix of activities, community spirit and hands-on fun, it’s no wonder families keep this date firmly on their summer calendars. Organised by Borth Community Hub and now in its 15th year, Borth Carnival Family Fun Day has become a much-loved tradition.

From the moment you step through the gates, there’s a warm, friendly vibe that makes everyone feel welcome. Stalls filled with local bits and bobs, games and more provide plenty to browse. And when the tummy rumbles hit, you can count on the ever-popular barbeque and tea tent to serve up some delicious bites and refreshments.

Kids are truly at the heart of this day, and they’ll be spoilt for choice. There’s a teddy bear’s picnic that’s perfect for the youngest visitors, while the colouring competition gives little artists the chance to show off their creativity. The S.T.E.M. activities station brings a fun, hands-on experience with something to spark the curiosity of older kids. It’s a lovely blend of learning through play, wrapped up in that laid-back summer holiday energy.

Also on-site will be special guests from the RNLI, Fire Service and Lifeguards. Kids get the chance to see the kit, meet the people who use it, and ask all their burning questions. It’s a brilliant way to learn about safety and community in a friendly, informal setting.
