Laugharne Fireworks Display

Families after something lively and local this November might want to pencil in the Laugharne Fireworks Display. Postponed from Bonfire Night itself, this midweek celebration promises a cosy evening of sparks, snacks and community spirit at Wooford Playing Fields. It’s organised by Laugharne Community Sports Association, and it’s got all the ingredients for a fun night out with the kids.

A local bonfire night with a twist

The Laugharne Fireworks Display kicks off on Wednesday 12th November, with gates opening from 6pm. It’s a great option for families who missed the usual 5th November events or fancy something a bit more relaxed and easy to get to. The evening starts with a Best Dressed Guy competition at 6.30pm, offering a £20 prize for the most creative entry. All the Guys will be added to the bonfire, so it’s a good excuse to get crafty with the kids beforehand.

Fireworks, food and family fun

Held at Wooford Playing Fields, the event is geared towards families and younger children. Entry is £5 for adults (16 and over), while under 16s go free as long as they’re with a paying adult. Refreshments will be available on site, so there’s no need to pack a full picnic, though bringing a few snacks and warm layers wouldn’t go amiss. Expect a friendly crowd, a proper bonfire and a fireworks display that’s bright enough to impress without overwhelming little ones.
