As part of the Cadw Open Doors this year Priory Church of St. Mary Magdalene will be offering visitors free entry to explore for a few days.
This 11th or early 12th century church, dating from some time between 1147 and 1184, became the church of the Cluniac Priory of St. Clears, and also served as the parish church. The century chancel arch is reckoned to be the finest example of Norman Romanesque in the county.
There will be an art display, and church history information will be provided for visitors.
