The Picton Castle Easter Egg Hunt is a fantastic shout for some proper family fun this Easter weekend! From Friday, April 18th, right through to Monday, April 21st, you can pop along anytime between 10am and 5pm each day. It won’t disappoint as the beautiful Picton Castle Gardens, is nestled in the heart of Pembrokeshire and a lovely setting for Easter excitement.
The main event, the egg hunt, is designed to be super simple and loads of fun for the kids. The story goes that the Easter Bunny has been a bit scatterbrained and lost all her precious eggs, so she needs all the little explorers to lend a helping hand! If your youngsters manage to track down all the hidden treasures scattered around the gardens, a well-deserved chocolate treat will be waiting for them at the end.
But the fun doesn’t stop at just finding eggs. They’ve also got Easter-themed crafts sessions where the kids can really get creative and make some lovely Easter keepsakes. And there’s even a competition linked to the crafts, with the chance to win either a massive Easter egg or a family day admission to Picton Castle for a future visit. Definitely worth getting crafty for!
Alongside the egg hunt and crafts, the kids will also get the chance to discover the charming fairy doors hidden around the gardens – always a bit of magical fun! Plus, they’ve added a brand-new mini maze this year, perfect for the little ones to navigate and burn off some of that Easter energy.
Picton Castle Gardens is truly a lovely place for a family wander at any time of year but adding an Easter egg hunt and all these extra activities makes it a really appealing day out for everyone.
So, if you’re on the lookout for something fun and engaging to do with the kids this Easter weekend, the Picton Castle Easter Egg Hunt sounds like a real winner.
