Step into the festive magic of the Santa Grotto and Light Trail at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees, Swansea. Known as Wales’s largest Christmas tree grower, Gower Fresh offers more than just beautiful trees—this family-friendly event is packed with festive fun for everyone this Christmas season.
Santa’s Grotto and Winter Wonderland
Begin your visit at Santa’s Grotto, set in the heart of the enchanting Swansea Winter Wonderland. Follow a snowy path brimming with festive surprises, from polar bears relaxing in the snow to talking trees and hardworking elves. Don’t miss the chance to sit in Santa’s sleigh for a festive photo before meeting Father Christmas himself. Every child up to age 8 will receive a special gift to make their visit truly magical. Advance booking is essential and can be made via the Gower Fresh Christmas Trees website.
Light Trail
New for 2024, the Light Trail is an unmissable highlight. This kilometre-long illuminated journey takes you through Gower Fresh’s stunning farmland, complete with dazzling light installations, an enchanted forest, and even a reindeer field. With interactive displays and giant wildlife sculptures, there’s plenty to captivate the whole family. Warm up at the Christmas food court, where festive treats, a licensed bar, and cosy fire pits await. The trail is pram and wheelchair accessible, but be sure to dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes for the gravel paths.
Tickets for the Light Trail are required, with children under 1 and carers free (ticket still needed). Advance booking is essential and can also be made via the Gower Fresh Christmas Trees website. Time slots run from 4.45pm to 8.00pm.
