Gower Fresh Christmas Trees

Swansea pumpkin patches come with a festive twist at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees, where the pick your own pumpkin event has run since 2018 and now draws thousands of visitors each year. Billed as The Biggest Pumpkin Festival in Wales for 2026, it has fields of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes to wander at your own pace, and you pay only for what you pick.

A Haunted Trail winds through the Christmas trees, and the Giant Pumpkin House, Dog Arch and pumpkin arches make great photo spots, with a marshmallow roasting pit and resident reindeer to visit. Extended opening hours include floodlit evening picking sessions.

About Gower Fresh Christmas Trees

Gower Fresh Christmas Trees grows over 400,000 Christmas trees on a well set out farm on the Gower, so the pumpkin fields sit alongside rows of trees that give the patch its festive backdrops. Everything is laid out to keep a family visit relaxed and stress free, which is a big help when you are juggling the kids and a wheelbarrow of pumpkins.

Opening Times and Prices

The pumpkin patch has been open Wednesday to Sunday since 26th September, from 11am to 5pm on Wednesdays to Fridays and 11am to 4pm on weekends. During October half term it opens every day from Monday 26th to Saturday 31st October, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday to Wednesday and 9.30am to 7pm on Thursday to Saturday.

A Car Pass costs £5.26 per car (including a £0.26 booking fee) and covers up to 6 people. There is no other entry fee to the pumpkin fields, so you then just pay for the pumpkins you pick, with prices depending on size. When you book, you choose an arrival time and can add optional extras. The Car Pass includes a visit to the reindeer, and feeding them costs extra.

Other Halloween activities run during October half term, so take a look at our What’s On pages for details.
