Penyfodau Fawr Farm Shop is part of the farm behind one of the much-loved Swansea pumpkin patches, which sadly held its final pick your own season in October 2025. After nearly 40 years of growing pumpkins and welcoming families to pick their own, the farm, the first in the area to open its fields to the public back in the 1980s, had become a favourite autumn tradition for local families.
The pumpkin fields have closed because a solar park development on the land was due to begin in January 2026. The good news is that the farm shop and milk room are staying open, so you can still pop in for fresh, local produce.
