Carmarthenshire August Bank Holiday Bin Collections

Here is a little helpful reminder that there will be changes, to our bin collections dates for residents in Carmarthenshire over August Bank Holidays and what the changes are
Across Carmarthenshire there will be changes to the day your rubbish is picked from Monday 26th until Friday 30th August. The changes are simply that your normal bin collections will take place one day later than usual, so if your normal collection day is:
The all-important dates for when your blue recycling and black rubbish bags will be picked up over the August Bank Holiday period in Carmarthenshire.
With all collections being back to normal from Monday 2nd September. These changes will also affect the garden waste pickups as well.

Waste Recycling Centres
Our Local waste recycling centres in Trostre (Llanelli), Wernddu (Ammanford), Nantycaws (Carmarthen) and Whitland are all open as usual 8.30am until 6pm over the Bank Holiday period.
Also don’t forget that the system has changed for when you are taking rubbish to your local recycling centre. You will need to take with you your driving licence, Council Tax bill or utility bill (no older than three months) with you as proof of residency within Carmarthenshire.
